This manual is for those customers whose bank statement is not supported by ERPLY Books. Now you can make the necessary settings by yourself.
In order to add the all the needed settings to the bank statement, first, you need to find out/ understand the following information:
- What is the encoding for this file?
- What is the data format?
- What is the format of the file separator?
- In what order is the information organized?
Then open the global parameters and type “Global Parameters” into the search box. Add a new parameter ATTRIBUTE_GLOBAL_CUSTOM_BANKS
Add the following parameters:
Value = bank name.
Alt value = is it starting from the first row. Values true or false.
Alt value 2 = the format of a file encoding.
Alt value 3 = date format.
Alt value 4 = CSV file separator, possible values are “,”, “;”, “|”.
Alt value 9 = the order of the information from the bank statement. Divide the information with dashes > “|”.
You need to fill in the following information:
- Paid out amount (“amount”). If there are debit sum and credit sum, then fill these in “debitSum” and “creditSum”
- Customer or supplier name
- Archiving attribute “id”
The order of the information must be the same as it is in the bank statement. If there is more information in the bank statement than described here, mark it under “Other”.
For example, you have the following row in the file:
“date”,”order id”,”invoice id”,”tax type”,”payout amount”,”payout currency”,”invoice price”,”invoice currency”,”exchange rate (EUR)”,”description”.
